About the role
Good work depends on the everyday details being handled well. We're looking for an organized, approachable person to help our team stay on top of those details, from a well-stocked office and a reliable calendar to social posts that sound like us.
This hands-on role combines administrative support, local errands, personal assistance, and day-to-day social media work. You'll communicate clearly, take initiative, and adjust priorities as the day changes. We'll provide all job-specific training.
This is a full-time position based in our Baton Rouge office. All work is in person.
What you’ll bring
- Help with day-to-day tasks around the office and on local errands.
- Assist our team with personal errands, travel arrangements, and other practical tasks.
- Pick up lunch orders from local restaurants.
- Organize office supplies and shared resources, and keep track of what needs replenishing.
- Schedule meetings, confirm details, and keep calendars up to date.
- Draft social media posts, create simple visuals in Canva, schedule content, and coordinate routine updates across our platforms.
- Keep the team informed about progress, ask questions when needed, and follow through on commitments.

The skills you’ll need
What you’ll bring
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with a friendly, professional approach to working with others.
- The ability to take initiative, organize daily tasks, and adapt when priorities change.
- Comfort using a computer and typing with a keyboard.
- Experience using Canva.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and a willingness to learn basic content scheduling tools. Training is provided.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and care when handling personal information and arrangements.
