What we did

• •We worked with a designer to build the browser-based experience from the ground up, then developed the application in React and TypeScript. Guided workflow cues show users where they are in a process and what comes next, helping make a feature-rich construction platform easier to navigate.
• •We created a central workspace where project members can create, edit, and share construction documents and files. Sharing controls and targeted notifications keep communication tied to the right people, while a complete activity trail records actions and helps teams maintain accountability across a job.
• •We added specialized tools for extracting and organizing key information from specification manuals and drawing sets, along with workflows for managing punch lists. These features replace portions of time-consuming manual document preparation and make important project information easier to work with.
• •We designed the platform on AWS using serverless and managed services, supported by Node.js and PostgreSQL. A typed codebase, tests, and deployment through the AWS Cloud Development Kit helped the team absorb expanding requirements while protecting the application’s structure and preparing it for larger workloads.
• •The delivered platform supports live construction projects, with an adaptable foundation for continued feature development. The result is a single environment for coordinating work, tracking follow-up, and preserving the project record rather than scattering those responsibilities across email and disconnected files.
