What we did

• •Integrated the dashboard with garage sensor data so operators can review how parking activity changes at different points in time. The application organizes incoming records into usable management views instead of leaving owners to interpret isolated data from individual systems.
• •Designed a set of graphs to show garage metrics and activity across a full day. The visualizations remain readable on smaller screens, even when a chart needs to display many data points at once.
• •Created views for reviewing vehicle entry and exit activity, giving operators a more direct way to trace usage patterns within a property. This supports day-to-day oversight without forcing users to sort through raw sensor records.
• •Added tenant parking rules and allocation tracking for garages that lease a fixed number of spaces. Operators can compare tenant activity with assigned spaces and identify when usage goes beyond the agreed allotment.
• •Built the application with React, TypeScript, Vite, Node.js, and AWS, with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui supporting the interface. We also addressed differences in how charts behave across browsers so graphs remained useful and consistent. The completed dashboard gave the client one place to monitor activity, review trends, and manage parking use.
