Focused application maintenance kept a certification-tracking system usable while directing limited support time to the issues that mattered most.

The Louisiana Department of Health had an existing system for tracking licensed water safety operators, active certifications, classes, and exams. As new issues appeared, bugs and workflow problems could make the application harder to use and interfere with the recordkeeping it was built to support. A system with several connected record types needed steady attention so emerging issues did not reduce the usefulness of the overall process.
The goal was not a ground-up rebuild. GrassFed Development provided focused maintenance for the established application while working within a limited pool of support hours. That constraint made prioritization essential. The desired outcome was straightforward: keep core tracking functions usable and direct maintenance toward the problems with the greatest practical impact.
