Nightlife Event Navigator

What we did

• •We designed and developed a React Native mobile app that organizes nearby venues and events in both list and map views. Location-aware browsing, filters, event details, crowd-busyness data, sharing, and RSVP or ticket options help people compare plans without piecing together information from multiple social accounts.
• •We created a separate venue experience for profile and event management. Businesses can publish events and use paid subscriptions or promotional placements to improve visibility within the app. This structure gives the client a defined monetization path while giving participating venues a focused channel for reaching people who are already looking for something to do.
• •We built an administrative web application and supporting API so platform staff can review venues before allowing them to post. The wider system uses managed cloud services for authentication, database hosting, file storage, deployment, and push notifications, giving the mobile and web experiences a consistent foundation for accounts, content, and communication.
• •As the feature set evolved, repeated routes between home, map, venue, and event screens created circular navigation. We revisited the flow and introduced tab-based navigation, making each user’s location in the app clearer and reducing hard-to-exit paths. Iterative map design and cached data also kept important event information easy to reach and responsive.
