What we did

• •We mapped the core staffing flow across both user groups. Clinics could create shifts, review applicants, approve or reject requests, and manage posted work. Veterinary professionals could search for openings in a chosen area, review shift details, and submit applications through the mobile experience.
• •We designed complementary mobile and web interfaces rather than forcing both audiences into the same workflow. The worker-facing screens centered on finding and applying for shifts. The clinic-facing workspace emphasized posting, updating, and managing staffing needs, while a separate administrative portal rounded out the planned product experience.
• •We addressed the risk of clutter by setting a clear visual hierarchy for shift information. The most important details appeared first, while supporting information remained available when a user chose to open a deeper view. This kept the main screens concise and helped users focus on the next decision.
• •We developed the interface direction in Figma and created supporting visual assets in Adobe Illustrator. The screens used Grizz’s branding and were revised through client feedback to better match the intended product vision. The finished design set brought the mobile app, clinic web app, and administrative portal into one consistent experience.
